Medical mystery: Boy allergic to food

Just imagine being allergic to every single thing you eat. That's what one family is dealing with regarding their son.

It's medical mystery and a painful problem for the 3-year-old Florida boy. The boy is allergic to everything he has ever eaten except one thing.

His parents said this prescription-only, children's formula is the only thing they've found that he can digest. But only months ago, he had a violent reaction to it as well.

"He started being severely irritable," said Jennifer Gonzalez, the mother. "Then he started vomiting, and that's when we figured out it was the new label."

The boy's parents were concerned the company changed the ingredients in the formula.

Doctors said most children grow out of this condition by the time they are 5 or 6, but there is no guarantee.
