One person injured in crash at Douglas and Fir

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Medics and emergency crews were on the scene of a crash at Douglas and Fir roads in Mishawaka.
St. Joseph County Dispatch said the 2-vehicle crash happened around 7:48 a.m.
One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Officials say the eastbound lane towards Elkhart were blocked for some time before the road opened.
