Meet the Candidates Forum to be held Tuesday at St. Joseph Co. Public Library
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Many of the candidates on the ballot in St. Joseph County will be participating in the Meet the Candidates Forum at the St. Joseph County Public Library Tuesday, April 24.
The free event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hymphreys Room at the main library, 304 S. Main Street in South Bend.
This event will feature the Second Congressional District candidates, county sheriff candidates, assessor candidates, and other candidates on St. Joseph County ballots.
Tuesday's forum is hosted by the American Democracy Project of IU South Bend, League of Women Voters of the South Bend Area, in partnership with the St. Joseph County Public Library.
Attendees will get a printed program including every candidate’s name. As voters hear from each candidate, they can take notes, highlight favorites, and determine their “ballot picks” at the forum. Attendees are also encouraged to talk with candidates one-on-one during the post-forum networking reception from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
