Memorial held for victim of California Rampage

Twenty-year-old David Wang was one of Elliot Rodger's first victims in a violent killing spree May 23rd.

The Santa Barbara student was stabbed to death inside the apartment he shared with Rodger.

Instead of remembering the way he died, his parents who emigrated from China, are remembering how he lived.

"Mom and dad were so proud of you. You were our joy," said Jin Liu Wang, David's mother. "I'm missing you, your arms around my neck my shoulder, holding my hands, hugging me."

Fremont Christian School plans to dedicate its basketball courts to Wang.

They will also put a plaque on campus in his memory.
