Men in Kilts: ABC57's Tom Coomes shows off his legs for a good cause

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Talk about putting the "fun" in fundraising! Thursday night, Scottish pride is on display in South Bend.
Several local men are wearing kilts. That includes ABC 57 Meteorologist Tom Coomes, who is among those showing off their legs for a good cause!
The event was held on Saint Mary's campus at the Gillespie Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Tom is working to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald House at Memorial Hospital. This space allows for families to be able to rest and relax after the stresses of having a child in the hospital.
They have already raised more than $67,000.
