Meningitis death toll reaches 23

Nearly 300 cases of meningitis have swept across the nation and we are seeing it right here in Michiana.

A breakdown of the latest numbers shows Michigan has a total of five deaths and 53 cases.

According to the Centers for Disease Control in Indiana there have been two deaths and 38 who have been infected.

Across the U.S., 23 have died from the disease after receiving  the tainted steroid injections.
