Mentone man arrested on alleged charges of child pornography

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY -- The Bremen Post of the Indiana State Police (ISP) with help from the Special Investigations Section arrested a Mentone man on Thursday (Dec. 14) on alleged charges of possession of child pornography.

"This investigation by the ISP began when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip ultimately led to a search warrant being served on a residence located at 5000 block of West Wood Duck Drive in Mentone, IN," ISP said in a release.

"As a result of the investigation, David Ellenberger, 35 of Mentone, IN was arrested for Possession of Child Pornography. Ellenberger was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail."
