Methamphetamine discovered after a search warrant was conducted, detectives say

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announced on Friday that they discovered methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia while conducting a search warrant on the 68000 block of M-62 in Ontwa Township.

Detectives say they detained a man and a woman at the scene before beginning their search.

After discovering the drugs, detectives arrested the 44-year-old man for an active warrant.

Detectives say they are submitting charges for a warrant to be issued for the 38-year-old female that was at the scene.

The names of each suspect will be withheld pending arraignment on their charges.
