Metro Homicide called to death investigation on Patty Lane

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Law enforcement officials said that Metro Homicide has been called to an investigation in South Bend on Wednesday.
Police were sent to the 1000 block of Patty Lane in South Bend around 11:49 a.m.
Metro Homicide officials said that when family arrived to the apartment on Patty Lane on Wednesday, they found a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any suspect information.
According to CMHU, the death is being investigated as a homicide.
