Metro Homicide investigating suspicious death at South Bend apartment building

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Metro Homicide is investigating a suspicious homicide at North Eddy Street and Colfax Avenue.

Deshone Caradine, 42, was found dead by a family member in a bathroom at the Eddy Street Apartments around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said a middle-aged man is currently wanted for questioning.

They believe he took off in the victim’s green Ford Focus west towards Chicago. Police also believe the man knew Caradine.

Police are asking residents of the building to stay in their apartments at this time.
