SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was at the scene of a murder investigation in South Bend Sunday.
According to the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit, police received a call about an assault on the 1600 block of S. Marine Street around 7:38 a.m. Sunday.
Trey Devante Martinez, 27, of South Bend was found lying in the street and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
An autopsy is scheduled for noon on Monday for Martinez.
Police are still investigating the murder and no suspects have been found at this time.
