Michiana Bird Society 22nd Annual Bird Fair

The Michiana Bird Society (MBS) is hosting its 22nd Annual Bird Fair! A beloved event that bird lovers from across the Midwest await each year.

"We are the largest, and longest running, bird fair in our area," says Michiana Bird Society President Kim Dienes Cozzi.

A unique event featuring approximately 50 vendors and over 100 tables with bird/parrot-related items including many varieties of large and small bird breeders, rescues, birds for purchase and adoption, cages, feeders and fun activities for the whole family!

As always, inspired by member Loretta Wright, who makes Easter baskets at her church for kids in the community - the Bird Society's Easter Basket Sale!

Bird Society members get together every year to assemble 50 - 100 Easter baskets chock full of candy, chocolate, toys and much more!

Each year MBS donates a portion of the proceeds from the event and Easter Basket Sale to local organizations. This year proceeds go to Washington Park Zoo and Potawatomi Zoo. "We strive to assist as many not-for-profits in our area as possible," remarks Kim.
