St. Joseph County, Ind.-- The annual Michiana Festival of Beers is back at Four Winds Field on Saturday, Oct. 16.
There will be local food trucks, live music, and some local and regional favorite brewers. People will be able to sample from 24 breweries such as Studebaker Brewing Company, South Bend Brewing, and Niles Brewing Company. There will also be cideries and meaderies for those who are not big fans of craft beers.
All proceeds from the festival will go to a non-profit organization, Resale to the Rescue. Chuck Bergman, a member of the planning committee said the event is all about craft beer.
“To celebrate craft beer and to share our knowledge. We love for our attendees, whether you’ve been involved with craft beer for years, or you’re new to it. You can talk to the brewery staff, get to learn about the styles that they’re serving. Really kind of educate yourself on craft beer,” Bergman said.
The festival is from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. It’s a rain or shine event and tickets will be sold at the door for $40 and online for $30.
