NOW: Michiana Idol hopefuls now in Chicago for American Idol auditions

CHICAGO, IL. - A busload of Michiana Idol winners arrived in Chicago Monday morning, for a possible chance at stardom.

They will go to the front of the line, to audition for American Idol producers later on Monday. They will join hundreds of other would-be hopefuls at Chicago's McCormick Place for the latest round of auditions.

We will be following their journey all day. Our Colleen Bormann and Hayley Fixler will be following the contestants' journeys.

This morning Hayley talked with several Idol hopefuls, including one from our area:
