ABC 57's Michiana Idol was a success. From the special event, 11 people will be moving on to American Idol auditions.
Ten people were awarded the front-of-the-line passes, where they will audition in front of producers on September 11 in Chicago.
On Thursday, ABC 57's Colleen Bormann awarded the final ticket. The silver ticket sends one contestant directly to a judging city, where they will perform in front of the show's executive producer.
15-year old David Smith, a Sophomore at Adams High School, was awarded the silver ticket on Thursday. He will move on to a judging city sometime in October.
