McCormick Place was filled with people, vying for their chance to be on the next season of American Idol.
One of those people, was 17-year-old Gabby Biggs.
Biggs is a student at Penn High School.
ABC57 News found her in line, very early in the morning.
Although she did not make it to the next round, she says she gained an amazing experience and hope for the future.
Also attending the Chicago auditions, was former American Idol Season 10 Contestant, Haley Reinhart.
Reinhart happened to be in town promoting her new album, when she heard about auditions taking place.
She joined producers as a special judge for a few auditions, while checking out the next generation of talent.
