Michiana's Menu: Join the 'family' at Macadoo's Family Restaurant

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- “We are a basic all-American breakfast place, we have served a lot of the foods people have grew up with,” says Kathy McDonald, Owner and Manager of Macadoo’s Family Restaurant.  

You cannot experience ‘American style’ in Michiana without a trip to see the staff at Macadooo’s Family Restaurant! For this week’s Michiana’s menu, we check out this Mishawaka staple.

But before you even take a look at the menu, the breakfast and lunch hub will feel like home.

“We want to be a family, and we try to treat our customers like family, and we care about our customers and what goes out the door. It is a standard we have kept since day one.”

The menu offers early morning necessities like French toast, pancakes, eggs, and of course the restaurant's famous biscuits and sausage gravy. Those who sleep in have options too. From burgers, to sandwiches and soup, there is something for everyone. The home cooked, comfort style pairs perfectly with the staff who have served the community for 31 years.

“We have an awesome regular fan base, and I would say the food has a lot to do with it but I also think it is our staff. They love the girls here, and they have become family oriented.”

The Macadoo’s family credits their success to loyal customers who keep coming back which keeps them going too.

“The community here is awesome when we were going through COVID if it wasn’t for them coming here every single day we probably would not be here doing this interview.”
