Michigan City Police investigating shooting that injured one
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – The Michigan City Police Department is investigating a shooting on Thursday that sent one person to the hospital.
At 12:50 a.m., dispatch received a report of shots fired with one person shot in the 200 block of Thurman Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they learned one person had been shot in the arm.
That person was immediately taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers and detectives collected evidence and spoke to witnesses but are still trying to identify any suspect(s).
