MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.. -- A Michigan City Police officer was honored for his heroic actions that saved the life of a young girl a few weeks ago.
Officer Scott Combs was called to Dunewood Mobile Park on US 212 when he pulled a bull mastiff off of a young girl who was being mauled.
Combs saved Winter's life.
Wednesday afternoon in front of his peers and the very girl he saved, Combs was honored for his actions.
