Michigan City scales back on lifeguards

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Parks Department is scaling back lifeguards at Washington Park Beach.
Lifeguards will not be on duty during the week. The city will still have lifeguards at Washington park beach on weekends from 10 - 6.
That schedule will run through Labor Day weekend.
