Michigan has 1,039,337 COVID-19 cases, 21,139 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 8,704 new cases* of COVID-19, and 62 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 2,901 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 19 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,039,337 COVID-19 cases, 21,139 deaths, 931,115 recovered, and 10,012,860 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 16,314 confirmed cases, 294 deaths, 142,616 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 5,803 cases, 80 deaths, 34,044 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  6,845 cases, 106 deaths, 45,484 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 7,941 cases, 138 deaths, 73,077 vaccine doses administered
