Michigan reports 1,866,267 total cases of COVID-19, 29,190 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 33,551 new cases* of COVID-19, and 210 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Thursday & Friday). The average number of new cases is 16,776 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 79 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has had a total of 1,866,267 COVID-19 cases, 29,190 deaths, 1,382,066 recovered, and 11,141,806 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 27,461 confirmed cases, 418 deaths, 158,339 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 8,605 cases, 112 deaths, 38,010 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  10,849 cases, 151 deaths, 50,884 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 14,135 cases, 216 deaths, 82,774 vaccine doses administered
