Michigan reports 2,037,742 total cases of COVID-19, 30,959 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 5,380 new cases* of COVID-19, and 152 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over three days (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday). The average number of new cases is 1,793 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 0 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has had a total of 2,037,742 COVID-19 cases, 30,959 deaths, and 11,283,987 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 30,165 confirmed cases, 464 deaths, 162,798 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 9,134 cases, 119 deaths, 36,472 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  11,839 cases, 160 deaths, 51,399 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 15,381 cases, 226 deaths, 87,018 vaccine doses administered
