Michigan has 895,395 COVID-19 cases, 19,775 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 438 new cases of COVID-19, and 21 new deaths.

*Note: Today's daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDSS since Friday, July 2. Deaths announced today includes 16 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 895,395 COVID-19 cases, 19,775 deaths, 868,294 recovered, and 9,037,062 vaccine doses administered. 

  • Berrien Co.: 13,967 confirmed cases, 274 deaths, 127,794 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 4,811 cases, 72 deaths, 30,706 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  5,564 cases, 95 deaths, 40,049 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 6,688 cases, 118 deaths, 64,467 vaccine doses administered
