Michigan has 937,720 COVID-19 cases, 20,161 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 4,325 new cases* of COVID-19, and 38 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Tuesday & Wednesday). The average number of new cases is 2,163 per day. 

**Deaths announced today includes 10 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 937,720 COVID-19 cases, 20,161 deaths, 878,031 recovered, and 9,545,399 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 14,566 confirmed cases, 281 deaths, 135,138 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 5,067 cases, 73 deaths, 32,131 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  5,852 cases, 98 deaths, 42,895 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 7,074 cases, 124 deaths, 68,793 vaccine doses administered
