The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 6,313 new cases* of COVID-19, and 29 new deaths**.
*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over four days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday). The average number of new cases is 1,578 per day.
**Deaths announced today includes 10 deaths identified during a Vital Records review.
The state has a total of 961,953 COVID-19 cases, 20,396 deaths, 887,790 recovered, and 9,689,224 vaccine doses administered***.
- Berrien Co.: 14,955 confirmed cases, 283 deaths, 137,261 vaccine doses administered
- Cass Co.: 5,199 cases, 74 deaths, 32,504 vaccine doses administered
- St. Joseph Co.: 6,067 cases, 98 deaths, 43,682 vaccine doses administered
- Van Buren Co.: 7,208 cases, 130 deaths, 70,005 vaccine doses administered
