Michigan, Notre Dame rivalry taking a break in 2018 and 2019

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Notre Dame-Michigan rivalry is taking a break.

The Wolverines released a schedule today that has the two teams not playing in 2018 and 2019. Then the teams will play again.

The teams first played way back in 1887.

The Irish will host the Wolverines on Sept. 22 for another night game.

Michigan won last year, 35-30.
