Michigan snowmobilers hospitalized after snowbank collision

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Two Michigan men were injured over the weekend after a major snowmobile accident.

Forty-one-year-old Justin Reed and 36-year-old Brian Widenhoefer were injured after Reed failed to see and negotiate an upcoming downhill embankment.

The riders hit that bank of snow causing the snowmobile to vault throwing both gentleman from the machine.

Both men were taken to Borgess Hospital there in Dowagiac. Both are still being treated in the emergency room. No word on the extent of their injuries.
