Michigan State troopers investigating semi crash on U.S. 12, roadway now open
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - Michigan State Police is investigating a crash involving a vehicle and semi on U.S. 12, near Bakertown Road Wednesday evening.
MSP provided an update Thursday evening stating that the crash scene was cleared and the roadways are now open.

At 4:25 p.m., a semi allegedly pulled out onto U.S. 12, from Bakertown Road, and into the path of a passenger vehicle.
Unable to avoid the semi, the vehicle crashed into its trailer.
The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old Michigan City man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
U.S. 12 is shut down between Bakertown and South Redbud Trail for cleanup.
Please seek an alternate route.
