MICHIGAN -- The National Weather Service confirmed a statewide tornado drill will take place on Wednesday, March 18. 

WFO Northern Indiana will use NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards to conduct the statewide tornado drill.

The National Weather Service will use the Routine Weekly Test (RWT) on NOAA Weather Radio to implement the drill around 1 p.m.

The drill will cover Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, and Hillsdale counties. 

The statewide drill is being conducted in conjunction with Severe Weather Awareness Week in Michigan, which runs from March 15 to March 21.
