SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Michigan Street is temporally renamed to Four Winds Invitational Drive.
At 10 a.m. on Monday, City leaders and the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi held an unveiling for the new street name in honor of the Four Winds Invitational at the South Bend Country Club.
“We partner with the city and they are able to work with us and renamed the street for the week as the Four Winds Invitational Way. So that just shows our partnership and how we work together on events and working to be partners in the community.” Said Chairwoman of Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, Rebecca Richards.
Proceeds from this event will go towards Beacon Health and Beacon Children's hospital to provide a NICU transport to ensure safe transport for premature infants.
