Michigan tree farm sends Christmas trees to Fort Knox

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- A Van Buren County soldier will be serving his country instead of coming home fro the holidays. But now his community is sending a little bit of home to him.

A Gobles tree farm is sending 400 Christmas trees to Fort Knox, Kentucky--the post of one its own, Army Specialist Brian Brockway.

The program is part of the Trees for Troops campaign.

And Brockway's mother said it is just another way her son can have a little bit of his hometown this Christmas.

Those soldiers will get more than trees.

Each one also comes with a note from local students.
