Middlebury Schools Police investigating death of adult found in parking lot of Northridge Middle School

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Middlebury Schools Police Department is investigating after an adult was found dead in the north side of the parking lot at Northridge Middle School Friday.

There is no ongoing threat to the public but community members are asked to avoid the area if possible.

The north side of the parking lot is closed.

Student pickup, however, will resume as normal.

A lockdown was placed on the school but all students in Middlebury Community Schools are safe.
