Mild temperatures continue – this morning we’re already starting in the low 30s. We’ll reach a high around 36 this afternoon.
Most of the day is cloudy but dry. We’ll see a few light snow showers start later this evening and continue overnight. The snow is more annoying than impactful. A few areas could see up to 1” of snow by Thursday. A few flurries are possible Thursday morning, then the day is dry.
Thursday overnight, a system moves into Michiana, bringing widespread precipitation for Friday. This system will also bring gusty winds into early Friday.
The system likely starts as snow, then gradually shifts to a wintry mix or slushy snow by Friday afternoon. We could see some accumulating snow, although it is still a little early to tell the exact amounts. Plan on slower commutes both Friday morning and evening.
We’ll dry out over the weekend, but temperatures drop into the lower 20s.
Today: Mostly cloudy. Snow showers late in the evening. High 36.
Tonight: Light snow showers. Low 27.
Thursday: Few AM snow showers, then mostly cloudy. High 30.
Friday: Windy. AM snow turning to rain/snow mix in afternoon. High 38.
