Rainy start to the day, Fair by afternoon
Today should be much warmer as winds really ramp up out of the south and west. Expect gusts of 25-30 mph periodically. Highs along the Toll Road should hit the low/mid 30s but some areas farther south could go higher. Be sure to get Super Bowl shopping done today because snow moves into Michiana around 9 or 10 PM tonight, becoming moderate/heavy at times too. System snow transitions to L.E. snow Sunday afternoon before winding down by Monday night. 3”-6” at the most is still expected for LaPorte, South Bend, and Benton Harbor, with 1”-3” farther south and east by Sunday night.
The pattern stays active as many waves of snow are possible. Highs hold in the 20s through next weekend too.
Today: Mostly cloudy with a chance of late PM snow showers. High of 34.
Tonight: Snow. Moderate to heavy at times. Low of 28.
Sunday: System snow changing over to L.E. snow. Early morning high of 30 and falling throughout the day.
Monday: Mostly sunny with more afternoon clouds. Highs near 20.
