GOSHEN, Ind. - This holiday season, Miller Poultry is donating over 12,000 pounds of poultry to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
In partnership with Martin's Supermarket, Miller Poultry products range between chicken sausage and whole chickens, to be distributed across the Michiana area starting Wednesday.
Miller Poultry is driven, in this critical time, to give back to the community.
"It's part of who we are, as a family," said Clayton Miller, Director of Live Operations at Miller Poultry. "It's part of our art background, we really want to be able to give back."
This annual tradition and continued partnership is fueled by providing well-nourishing meals to families.
"Chicken is such a versatile source of protein and continues to be a luxury item at food pantries,” said Marijo Martinec, Executive Director and CEO, Food Bank of Northern Indiana in a press release. “We are humbled by this longtime partnership with Martin’s Super Markets and Miller Poultry who are committed to helping us feed hungry neighbors in northern Indiana and spread joy to those who need it most this holiday season.”
