Milling and resurfacing to start on Filbert Road in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka, in conjunction with St. Joseph County, will close Filbert Road for milling and resurfacing, starting on Thursday at 7 a.m.
During the work, city officials say Filbert Road will be closed to thru traffic between McKinley Avenue and Day Road.
Motorists are asked to use N. Main Street or Fir Road as a detour.
Weather permitting, officials expect the closure to be in place until 5 p.m. on Monday, August 19.
