Mishawaka announces spring leaf pick-up schedule

Mishawaka Mayor David Wood announced the spring leaf pickup schedule.

The Mishawaka Street Department will be picking up leaves during the week of April 11.

Mishawaka residents can rake their leaves to the curb for pickup during the week of April 11th.

Leaves will be picked up on the day before your regular trash day.

If your trash is picked up on Monday, your leaves will be picked up on Friday, April 15.

Leaves should be raked to the edge of the curb and should be free of branches, twigs, stones or similar foreign objects which can damage equipment and delay leaf pick-up.

You can also bag your leaves and put them out for collection during your weekly trash pickup.

Brush can be taken to the Mishawaka Recycling Center at 1105 East Fifth Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
