Mishawaka family gets rude awakening from car plowing into their porch

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- One Mishawaka family got a rude awakening when a car plowed into their porch.

It happened on Monday around 1:30 a.m. on West Jefferson Blvd.

A piece of plywood was placed on the side of the home as a temporary fix to the hole the car made.

Neighbors we spoke with watched as the driver, who was described as being an older man in his 60s, walked out on the lawn -- stunned.

The homeowner said they felt their place shake on impact.

Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.

However, neighbors are fed up with all of the reckless driving. This isn't the first time something like this has happened on their block. ABC 57's Ashley Izbicki reports.
