Mishawaka IHOP celebrates National Pancake Day

Tuesday was National Pancake Day, and IHOP offered free meals to patrons.

In exchange for a free dine-in meal, the company asked customers to consider leaving a donation to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

“It’s one of the busiest days of the year,” said Byron Wickliffe, a server. “It brings a lot of people from all over, and it’s for a good cause.  It’s something we look forward to doing every year.”

National Pancake Day started in 2006, and since then, IHOP has raised nearly $20 million for charity.
