Mishawaka man sentenced for possession of child pornography

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A Mishawaka man was sentenced to 8 years in prison for possession of child pornography.

In September 2016, multiple agencies executed a search warrant at the home of 58-year-old Kevin Street. He allegedly admitted to downloading child pornography on his computer.

Police recovered more than 1400 files of child pornography from his hard drive, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Street was charged with four counts of child pornography.

On January 17, Street was sentenced to 8 years in prison, 2 years for each charge, with two years suspended.

He will also serve 2 years on probation after his release.
