Mishawaka man shoots off gun in his apartment

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A Mishawaka man is in police custody after he fired shots in his Mishawaka apartment.
Police are investigating the scene of the shooting on East Mishawakave Avenue.
When police arrived, they cleared the apartment and then took Lonnie Cheatham, 26, in into custody.
He is currently being held at the St. Joseph County Jail where he faces criminal recklessness charges.
