Mishawaka Marian Boys Basketball preparing for the state championship

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Marian Boys Basketball team is practicing and preparing to compete in the program’s first-ever state championship game on Saturday.

“They got to win for themselves, win for their school. That’s what they’re going for. Play as hard as they can, compete and try to win a state championship," said Rob Berger, Head Coach of the Marian Boys Basketball team.

Marian’s historic win against Leo in semi-state has earned them a chance to win the 3A state championship when they face off against the Beech Grove Hornets.

The big game will be hosted at the at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday at 6 p.m.
