Mishawaka officer rushed to local hospital

At 8:10 a.m. while responding to a call on Leyte Avenue in Mishawaka, an officer collapsed at the scene. Police say Fire crews and EMS were able to revive him. He was rushed to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center . We’re told he is alright.
No word yet on what caused the officer to collapse. His name will not be released until after his family is notified. Stay with ABC 57 News both on air and online as we bring you the latest on this developing story.
