MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Mishawaka Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 91 (FOP91) fostered positive relationships with the community, Wednesday, hosting Christmas with a Cop.
35 kids, along with their families, attended the event, warming up with Mission Barbecue and a visit with Santa.
After, attendees visited Meijer on Grape Road where kids were invited to shop for themselves.
For officers at the police department, like Andrew Bauer, Christmas with Cops is about giving back to the community.
"This is one of my favorite events, we get to interact with the people that we serve every day," said Bauer. "It just makes me proud to be here."
