Mishawaka Police dog naming contest

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – This K9 is the newest member of the Mishawaka Police Department and he needs a name.
MPD is holding a naming contest for its newest recruit, a 1-year-old Belgian Melinois.
Voting began Oct. 19 and the department will decide on a winning name Sunday, Oct. 21.
Voting options were narrowed down to three choices—JAX, DAX or BLU.
Voters can head to the Mishawaka Police Department’s facebook page to cast their choice.
