Mishawaka Police investigating armed robberies

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Police are investigating two armed robberies that happened at gas stations on Lincolnway East.

The first robbery happened Saturday at 5:25 a.m. at the Mobile gas station at 4116 Lincolnway East. A man wearing a mask over his face entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries in the robbery.

The second happened Monday at 5:10 a.m. at the Lucky Mart station at 1408 Lincolnway East. A man wearing a mask over his face pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register. (photo above)

Police are investigating whether the armed robberies are related.
