MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Mishawaka police are investigating two reports of thieves stealing gasoline from vehicles.
On Friday, surveillance footage captured a person drilling into a gas tank at a rental car business on West Edison Road, police said.
Another report came in Thursday morning of a person saying her gas tank was drilled into at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Hickory Road.
Both cases are still under investigation.
If you see this happening, Mishawaka police ask you not to get involved or try to stop a thief. Instead, call 911 or a non-emergency number to get police involved.
