Mishawaka police officer's hearing postponed

MISHAWAKA, Ind.—A Mishawaka police officer, accused of having sex while on duty, will have to wait a little longer to learn his fate.

Corporal Willie Davis was set to have a hearing this afternoon, but his attorney asked to have it postponed until November 15.

Davis is currently suspended without pay.

Police chief Ken Witkowski wanted the board of public works and safety to fire Davis after an internal investigation, which Davis is challenging.
