MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Norfolk Southern will be conducting repairs across several railroad crossings throughout Mishawaka starting on May 17. 

Each crossing is expected to take between two to three hours to complete. 

Motorists are recommended to use the Capital Ave. underpass, as well as the Union St. underpass to avoid travel delays. 

Proper signage will be in place while the crossings are closed. 

The railroad crossings will be repaired in the following order: 

• Elder Rd (between Third St and Twelfth St) 

• Oakside Ave (between Third St and York St) 

• Kline Ave (between Third St and York St) 

• Delorenzi Ave (between Fourth St and the park) 

• Beiger St (between Fourth St and Sixth St) 

• Byrkit Ave (between Fourth St and Fifth St) 

• Merrifield Ave (between Fourth St and Fifth St) 

• Laurel St (between Fourth St and Fifth St) 

• Main St (between Fourth St and Sixth St)
